Pterry’s Surprise Birthday Party – Saturday

Shhhhh it's a surprise...

Hey bluggin’ dinos we’ve got an awesome event going down this Saturday, but we need your help! You may or may not know that Pterry’s Birthday was last Sunday, but we weren’t able to plan a party for him because of all the preparation for the MVAs Ceremony on Saturday. Pterry’s been pretty bummed all week, especially when I told him that we are throwing a party for international users on Friday and not for him. To make it up to him I told him he could throw a Quiz Party on Saturday… he has NO idea we’re going to surprise him!

Pterry’s going to throw his “Quiz Party” on Saturday at Jungle Beach, but he’ll be a little bit late. We need you all to show up and hide out over by Stretch’s Surf Shop, then when Pterry shows up we’ll all hop out and yell “SURPRISE!” and maybe throw a couple of bananas at him for good measure! Don’t miss out, it’s going to be a blast, everyone who attends will also receive a special birthday cake for their cave!

Daily Dino Fact!

Anyone want to go for a swim??

Hey gang, Daily Dino Fact coming at ya! The Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology recently produced a report concluding that three Metriorhynchids that existed from the Middle Jurassic to the Early Cretaceous were actually large, active hunters called hypercarnivores. To be classified as a hypercarnivores these Metriorhynchids (specifically Dakosaurus, Geosaurus and Torvoneustes) has to have a diet consisting of at least 70% meat. That’s a lot of meat!

The biggest of these sea dwelling meat-eaters, Dakosaurus, may have even been a better hunter than the T-Rex himself. The reason scientists think that the Dakosaurus was such an effective hunter is this ancient, finned, crocodile’s secret weapon, the death roll. These guys would take a big bite out of a large marine reptile, fish or cephalopod and repeatedly roll around in the water, inflicting more damage with each spin. Luckily for us, these terrifying Metriorhynchids are no longer patrolling the earth’s oceans… so it’s safe to go for a swim!

International Party with Pterry – Friday

Don't be scared Taco...

Hey Gang! We’ve had some awesome parties the last couple of Fridays, but have had some complaints from some of our international users about not being able to attend because of the late times of the parties in their time zones. To make up for this we’re going to have an awesome party this Friday at an earlier time. At 12 noon WST on Friday Pterry is going to be in the Voodoo Hideaway throwing an awesome international party. Bring your national pride and your need to get down and we’ll have an incredible time.

Pterry and I will definitely be there and there may be some other special guests dropping by. I’m also going to crank up the exchange rate (in honor of our international users) on Vine Swingin’ and Shoo Bug, so make sure you bring a bucket or a big bag to tote away all the coins you’re going to win. They’re going to be spitting out like toots out of Horns!

Game of the Week: Snowball Skirmish!!

Lucky Me-o, my all-time favorite game has been selected for the Game of the Week this week! COINcidence? Maybe not, but there were a couple of votes for Snowball Skirmish and I just couldn’t resist.

Most of you have already played Snowball Skirmish, but it’s a classic snowball fight… only with cannons, one-on-one, dino-a-dino. So find a partner and head on over to Webo Ridge for some intense snowball action just in time for fall.

Can’t find someone to challenge? Just look for Mio or another Moda and we’ll be happy to play against you. Not to mention scoop up some of the extra coins this game will be spitting out all week long!

Protectosaur Meetings – Tuesday



If you aren’t familiar, we encourage our Protectosaurs to meet up as a group once a week to discuss issues on the island and other items of interest. However, the meetings aren’t closed off to only Pros – they are more like Town Hall style meetings for everyone to discuss island business. Everyone has an equal stake in Webosaurs and we would love to hear what is on your mind. These will be my very first official Protectosaur Meetings so I look forward to seeing a lot of you there to talk about what’s happening on Webosaurs Island!

Mimo Party Awesomeness!

Hey Guys,

Today we had another MVA kick-off party with Mimo77 of Club Penguin. We had loads of fun but the party ended with a weird ending. Mimo went to refresh but he couldn't get back onto webosaurs he mentioned that on twitter but I snagged some pictures!

P.S. I came to the party and people started saying my name a lot and Mio invented the howRAHUUUUUUUUUUUU! thing ;)
